Why I Created Sho Shorts
Sho Shorts were constructed to resolve the glaring issues identified in current strongman and powerlifting compression and warm shorts. Most strongman and powerlifting shorts are overly bulky, constructed of low-grade materials, and unsuitable for everyday training. Odd Objects Sho Shorts are the ideal thickness for training and preventing soggy underwear. Their design ensures a refreshing airflow during workouts. Why not just buy something similar off Amazon?
Most of what's on Amazon is cheap neoprene with no real shape. They'll arrive the next day, but will have no gusset, no airflow, sizing that makes no sense, and materials that start breaking down fast. Honestly, their fine if you're just starting out. But, if you actually care about what you're wearing, they're going to disappoint you.
Why 8" inseam?
We've found the 8" inseam is long enough to keep you covered, but short enough to get out of your way. Most neoprene shorts are cut longer because... honestly we're not sure why. Longer isn't better. It's just longer. We also make a Hi Rise version of the Sho Shorts with a shorter inseam.
Will these leave me a sweaty mess?
Your training session might leave you a sweaty mess, but these shorts won't. The 3D air spacer mesh gusset actually moves air and keeps your underwear dry. We've had countless people tell us they are a genuine game changer. You will not be pouring yourself out of these.
What's a gusset and why do I care?
It's a panel in the crotch area that allows air to penetrate the shorts. Other neoprene shorts don't allow any airflow in and out of the shorts. Sho Shorts are the only strongman shorts on the market with one. You'll notice immediately. You won't go back.
Do the raw edges fray?
Yes. That's intentional. They're cut like that on purpose — think cutoff jeans, not cheap construction. We think the frayed edges are cool.
Do you offer a guarantee?
While we don't offer a specific guarantee, if there is anything wrong with the pair of shorts you receive or the break down faster than expected, please let us know right away and we'll send a replacement. We are a very small company, and cannot inspect every pair before shipping. Sho Shorts should last so long that you forgot when you bought them.

Returns & Exchanges
We get it — sometimes you need a different size or something just doesn’t work out. While we don’t offer refunds for returns, we do accept returns for store credit or exchanges on eligible items.
